Mr. Mumcuoglu has over 30 years’ oil industry experience, principally with TPAO, before he joined GYP in 2005. Mr. Mumcuoglu has graduated from Technical University of Istanbul, Department of Geological Engineering, 1979. Has obtained his M.Sc. Degree in Petroleum Geology in the West Virginia University, USA in 1984. Mr. Mumcuoglu worked as a Deputy General Manager of TPIC (Turkish Petroleum International Company), being responsible for the petroleum field service activities in Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan and Iraq between the years of 2001 and 2004. Worked as a Country Manager of TPIC in Egypt and had responsibilities in exploration and production activities of the company between 1994 and 2001.
Other than the experience in petroleum exploration, production, negotiations and contracting area, Mr. Mumcuoglu has completed the training courses at the Kyushu University of Japan and worked in the field of Geothermal Exploration for three years between 1987-1990. The valuable work experience has been gained during the involvement in many important projects in such countries as Turkey, USA, Japan, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Iraq, Egypt, Bulgaria and Morocco.

At present, Mr.Eren is in charge of exploration department of GYP. He has graduated from Karadeniz Technical University, Department of Geology, Trabzon, Turkey and then, obtained his master degree in Sedimentology at Mississippi State University, USA. Some of his responsibilities are conducting whole phases of the exploration studies including geological and geophysical interpretation and operational activities, development of new fields and coordinating government and partner relations.
In the beginning of his job career in 1985–1994 he worked at Domestic Exploration Group (TPAO), as an Exploration Geologist, studying geologic and seismic evaluation of Thrace Basin and Southeastern Thrust Belt of Turkey till 1994.
Mr. Eren is now responsible for all exploration projects and supervising geological interpretation works. He has gained valuable experience while working at TPAO (Turkish Petroleum Corporation). Positions held at TPAO: 2006-2007 - International Projects Group (Regional Manager); 2000-2006 - Resident Manager of TPAO Libya office; 1998-2000 - Project Manager and Management Committee Member; 1996-1998 - Project Manager and Senior Geologist, TPAO Turkmenistan; 1994-1996 - Senior Geologist, responsible for evaluating TPAO Azerbaijan fields; 1985-1994 - Domestic Exploration Grout at TPAO, Exploration Geologist. Also, Mr. Eren was responsible for evaluation of new projects in Iran, Iraq, Syria, Egypt, Azerbaijan etc. |

Before obtaining Ph.D. on the subject of Evaluation of Offshore Sequence Stratigraphy by using Seismic methods, Dr. Erdogdu has got Master Degree in Vertical Seismic Profiling at Istanbul University. His Bachelor Degree was received in 1984 at the same university. Later in 1985 he started to work at TPAO Exploration Group as a seismologist and then as a chief geophysicist of seismic crews. Then, he worked in Quality Control and Geophysical Interpretation System Department as an engineer and as a manager. During 1994-1995, Dr.Erdogdu worked as a chief geophysicist being in charge of evaluation of exploration and production licenses on behalf of TPIC (Turkish Petroleum International Company) in Egypt. Upon completion of these duties he worked as a technical supervisor at International Projects Department (IPD) of TPAO on several projects, namely, TEPCO in Kazakhstan, Offshore Caspian Sea, Onshore Turkmenistan, Egypt, Uzbekistan.
In 2001–2004, Dr. Erdogdu worked as a Deputy Manager being in charge of technical, commercial and administration issues for projects in Libya and North African countries. In subsequent years Dr. Erdogdu worked as a Project Leader of IPD for the projects in Middle East countries, i.e. Iraq, Iran and Syria. He is working at GYP since 2007. Having good knowledge of Landmark, Charisma and SMT (Kingdom Suite+) seismic interpretation systems, he is now in charge of evaluation of exploration and production licenses in GYP. |

After receiving BS in Petroleum Engineering Department at Middle East Technical University (METU) Ankara-Turkey in 1981, Mr. Guler joined TPAO as a drilling engineer. He obtained MSc degree in Petroleum Engineering at University of Southern California (USC), USA in 1985. He worked for TPAO Drilling Department between 1985-1994 and 2004-2008, in all phases of drilling operations of onshore and off-shore wells, including geothermal wells, at different fields in Turkey.
During 1994-2004, he worked on various positions at International Project Group of TPAO. He worked in Baku, Azerbaijan between 1995-1997 and, participated in opening new TPAO Baku Office. Between 1998-2000, he worked as an Operation Manager in Kazakhstan for TPAO-BPAmoco TEPCO Project and, managed drilling and testing operations. Between 2001-2004, he worked as Deputy Group Manager of International Project Group and was responsible for operations in Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Libya and Algeria. In 2006, he was assigned as an Operation Manager in charge of Western Black Sea Offshore Operations.
Mr. Guler has obtained his MSc in International Economics at Gazi University, Social Sciences Institute, Ankara-TURKEY in 1996. He is also author of many publications. |

Mr. Karadayi has graduated from Middle East Technical University of Ankara, Department of Petroleum Engineering, in 1983. He started to work as a drilling engineer at the Turkish Petroleum Company (TPAO). Prior to joining GYP in 2007, Mr. Karadayi worked as an Operation Manager of TPIC (Turkish Petroleum International Company), being responsible for the petroleum field service activities in Turkey, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Georgia and Iraq between the years of 2001 and 2007.

Mr. Yoruk is working as a for GYP and has more than 28 years of valuable experience. Mr. Rasim Yoruk is a graduate of Middle East Technical University of Ankara, Department of Petroleum Engineering, 1979. He started to work as a well-site drilling engineer at the Turkish Petroleum Company (TPAO). Prior to joining GYP in 2007, Rasim worked as a Deputy Head of Drilling Department of Turkish Petroleum Company (TPAO), being responsible for land drilling wells: Vertical and Directional Well Programming and Optimization, Well Budget, Operation in activities in Turkey and abroad between the years of 2003 and 2007. The countries of working experience include Turkey, Kazakhstan, Egypt and Libya. |

Mr. Aydin has joined GYP in September 2008. Having obtained a Bachelor degree in Petroleum Engineering from Middle East Technical University (Ankara – Turkey), Mr. Aydin was employed by TPAO, where he worked as a Senior Drilling Supervisor and Drilling Department Manager. Then, in 2001, he was appointed as a General Manager of TPIC, a subsidiary of TPAO. In the period from 2001 till 2004 Mr. Aydin worked on various positions in TPAO headquarter. He was engaged in procurement procedures, tendering and commissioning of land rigs, drilling and testing operations in Black Sea offshore. Mr. Aydin participated in international workshops, seminars, training programs. |

Mr UNSAL has obtained BSc on Petroleum Engineering from Middle East Technical University (METU) in Ankara. He joined Turkish Petroleum Corporation (TPAO) in 1993 as a Drilling Engineer and later continued to work as a Chief Engineer in Technical Operations Department, Chief Engineer in Material Supply Division, Chief of Engineering in Drilling Management and Drilling Manager as last position. He is mainly experienced in drilling (special operations), material supply & purchasing, personnel management, rig inspections and repairs, and rig moves. Mr. Unsal has also participated in domestic and overseas onshore and offshore projects with TPAO (Kazakhstan, Libya, Azerbaijan). Jointed GYP in July 2009 and positioned as a Rig Manager.

Huseyin Nevzat Topaloglu has graduated from Middle East Technical University (Ankara, Turkey), department of Petroleum Engineering, and then obtained master degree (MSc) in Petroleum Engineering from Stanford University (California, USA). He started his working career in 1971 at TPAO (Turkish Petroleum Corporation) as a Drilling Engineer. Then, he worked as Engineer and Chief Engineer at Well Service department being in charge of supervision of cementing, testing, stimulation, fishing, coring and casing and special drilling operations. Until March 1981 he worked at TPAO on different positions as Well Services Chief Engineer, Chief Drilling Engineer. In 1986 to 1989 worked as Well Completion Coordinator and Drilling Coordinator at TPAO. 1981-1986 and 1989-2005 – worked as a Senior Drilling Engineer and Consultant at Arabian Gulf Oil Co. (Libya). In 2005 Mr. Topaloglu joined Toreador company and was positioned as Rig Manager and Drilling Manager for Black Sea offshore drilling activities.

Mr. Salih Basyigit has graduated from Middle East Technical University, Department of Petroleum Engineering (MSc.). He joined GYP in 1997 as an engineer being in charge of workover and production operations. In 1999 he was promoted to chief engineer. His main duties included organization and planning of field works. In 19871988 he attended various training courses on drilling and reservoir services organized by TPAO (Turkish Petroleum Corporation). Mr. Basyigit is Production Fields Manager since 2007. He is mainly responsible for technical operations on production fields. |

Mr. Kenneth Ray Jackson has over 60 years in the oil industry. In 1947 he joined Halliburton company and worked for 18 years in the USA as a MSO, in Cementing, Drill Stem Testing, Special Tools, Chemical Stimulation and Hydraulic Fracturing. Then, he was transferred to International Operations working in Turkey, Nigeria, UAE, Bahrain as a supervisor, in Saudi Arabia as a superintendent, in Turkey and Greece (1979) as a General Manager. After 40 years he retired from Halliburton and joined Sayer Group of companies (a holding that includes GYP) in 1988 working as a Technical Advisor.

Mrs. Şirin Özger has graduated from Gazi University, Ankara, Turkey, Department of Mechanical Engineering B.S. She started to work as a supply engineer at the Turkish Petroleum Corporation Drilling Group. She worked as a Planning and Supply Manager and Adviser. She was engaged in procurements and tendering procedures, rental/loan/consignment agreements, stock control of critical well needs, planning and purchasing drilling equipments, technical evaluation of tender quotations and carry out related logistic steps. She joined GYP in June 2009.

Mr. Bumin has obtained his BSc in Petroleum Engineering. from Middle East Technical University in 1992. Started his career in 1994 at Ansad Petrol JV in Azerbaijan. Was responsible for field operation activities. During the period from 1997 till 2002 was employed by Baker Hughes Inteq as Operations Coordinator and, later, as Country Manager and based in Baku. In 2002-2004 Mr. Bumin worked at TPIC – Turkish Petroleum International Company (a subsidiary of Turkish Petroleum Corporation TPAO) as Business Development Manager (CIS countries). Mr. Bumin took Operations Manager position in PetOil in 2004 and worked for N.V. Turkse Perenco as Production Manager from 2005-2007. In 2007-2009 worked at Smith International Inc. as District Manager being responsible for Turkey and Iran. He joined GYP in October 2009 and is currently working as a Business Development Manager.

Mr. Alatas has been working in oil and gas industry for over 10 years and worked for the Finance Department at TPAO between 1998-2008 prior to joining GYP. During 2001-2006, he had a post in TPAO Libyan Branch as the Finance Manager and took part in managing EPSA Contracts and JV Accounting. Upon his arrival to Turkey, he worked at different departments, on various assignments such as budgeting, ERP implementation and IFRS reporting. Mr. Alatas graduated from Hacettepe University, Department of Business Management and holds an MBA degree from University of Scranton, Pennsylvania.

After her graduation from the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, Department of Economics, in Gazi University, Ankara, Turkey, she worked in various positions including Executive Assistant, Account Manager, Sales and Marketing Manager between 1989–1993. Worked as the Finance Manager between 1993–1994, Ms. Guner, as the Financial and Administrative Affairs Manager, coordinated HR, Accounting and Finance Departments between 1994-1997 in manufacturing sector. Ms. Guner gained experience on tax supervision in M.Y.T. Chartered Accountant Ltd. and then worked in import – export sector as Accounting and Finance Manager between 1998-1999. Ms. Guner joined to GYP in 1999.

Following his graduation from Department of Geological Engineering in Hacettepe University, Ankara, Turkey in 1988, he began his career in Toprak Kale Iskenderun highway project as Field Engineer working on ground survey drillings. Then he worked in international projects including TAG and Sile – Agva highways, Mamak Cankaya Imrahor viaduct and the reconstruction of Istanbul Halic bridge. Worked as Sales Engineer of high-tech products and industrial chemicals, Mr. Batir joined GYP in September 2003 as the Camp Supervisor of Diyarbakir Karakilise facilities. Then appointed as the Administrative Manager of Adiyaman, Mr. Batir serves currently as the Logistics Manager of the company.

Graduated from Faculty of Business in Anadolu University, Eskisehir, Turkey, Mr. Ergul has attended various training programs on social security, labour laws, tax, business law and human resources including the HR Management School in Hacettepe University, Ankara, Turkey. Mr. Ergul is a member of the Ankara Chamber of Certified Public Accountants.
Since 1977 he has been served in Sayer Group in various positions in Administrative Affairs and HR Departments in local and international oil projects on onshore and offshore drillings, seismic research and activities. He currently serves as the Human Resources Manager of the company. |
