Drilling and Workover Services

Recently, GYP has conducted the following drilling contracting services: Established a Free Zone Branch in Egypt and drilled 3 wells for Burren Energy (UK) in 2006 Drilled one well for Edison SpA (Italy) – Egypt in 2006 Drilled one well for Zorlu PetroGas (Turkey) in Adana in late 2006 with National 1320 m. Drilled one well for drilling 6000m well in Bulgaria for Direct Petroleum Bulgaria Ltd. in 2006. The well was the second deepest gas well in Bulgaria Drilled on-shore well in Black Sea Region in 2007 for Lotus Petroleum Ltd. (Turkey) Drilled 6 exploratory wells for Energy Operations Turkey (Terralliance, USA) in 2007 Is currently drilling well in Morocco for Cabre Maroc Ltd. Was awarded a contract to drill well for Dana Petroleum in Morocco in 2009 Drilled on-shore well in Black Sea Region in 2008 for Zeta Petroleum Ltd. Cementing Services

GYP's twin HT 400 pumping unit combined with split 100 bbl/s batch tank virtually takes care of all pumping, cementing and acidizing jobs normally required. These two units are skid mounted and easily transported and can be placed at the drilling location from spud to completion, making it very convenient and economical for the operating company.

Mud Logging Unit

GYP's Tooke Engineer Mud Logging Unit is operated by experienced geologists 24 hours a day during drilling. This unit is equipped with a model 7000 gas chromatograph and detector with all the monitoring systems necessary for obtaining good quality mud logging information. This unit is skid mounted and easily transported to remote location.

Drill Stem Testing

GYP is thoroughly convinced that all drilling breaks and/or hydrocarbons should be tested so as to run conventional or straddle tests. The main component of the string is a 2 stage shut-in tool, hydraulic main valve, with Kuster AX1 recorders. This container is actually a test shop and can be placed on the location whereby tools can be serviced without transporting back to main camp. Testing charts are evaluated in our reservoir and well completion group.

Drill Pipe Inspection Unit

GYP is proud to have its own pipe inspection unit and makes this service available to 3rd parties. This unit is chasis mounted and easily driven to any desired rig or place. This is a portable drill pipe inspection unit with buggy heads 2 3/8", 2 7/8", 3 1/2", 4 1/2", 5" and 5 1/2". Full set of calibration and full set of O.D. Gauges, Nortex model 123 Ultrasonic Gauges, high/low air jacks, A.C. Coils (8" and 10"), air compressor, complete set of cables, has a utility bed that allows the operator to stand or sit inside the unit.
